Post Wireless Nettwork Connection

MY ACER ASPIRE 4730z IS NOT GETTING CONNECTED TO MY IN HOUSE ROUTER I HAVE WINDOWS XP HOW CAN I RECTIFY THE PROBLEM
REASON IS

THE NETWORK DID NOT ASSIGN A NETWORK ADDRESS TO THE COMPUTER
HOW DO I DO IT

Hi

Try this.
Power down all PC's, Modem and Router (Unplug them)
Power up Modem first and wait a few minutes until all lights are solid
Power up the router and wait a few minutes
Boot up your PC's one at a time to allow the OS to find the router connection and see if you can connect to the internet.
