XP on laptop ?

Okay, I purchased three Dell laptops at an auction of a company that had went bankrupt, but the problem I am having is that all of the companies software is still on all of the computers. When I turn any of them on it want a windows password which I do not have nor know. Is there anything that I can do to get pass this and eliminate the sign on

On the bottom of the laptops, do you see a sticker that looks like this:



Did you get any of the installation cd's or do you have one for Dell?

Yes, all three of them have this sticker. I did not receive any software as it was an as is purchase at the auction. I think I may be stuck with three unusable laptops.

If you can get a Dell Reinstallation CD that matches the version on the sticker ( Home, Pro or MCE ) you can reinstall XP . . any drivers you need can be downloaded from the Dell Support site.

Any chance you can get the discs from the company you bought them from?

No, the company went out of business and I had no involvement with the company other than attending the auction.
