Cry Vista Home Premium & internet

Hallo

I have just started using a new laptop, Pavilion dv2500 with vista home premium installed. I have a VSAT internet connection. For a week my internet connection was fine. Now I keep on losing connection to the sites I work with and my MSN and Yahoo get cut off. On doing a network diagnosis I get a message saying "'Cannot communicate with server'' Network diagnostics pinged the remote host and got no reply. I then tried pinging IP's connected to me on MSN and they were not found. Apparently my ip was not visible to them either when they did a netstat. My ip is not hidden.
I contacted my ISP who did all sorts of things to my connection, but the problem continues. One of their employees apparently is having the exact same problem using a new laptop with vista installed, but a different type of connection, so I presume it must be a vista problem.
