Toshiba laptop wont charge just flashing amber battery light
Hi, right I知 going to sound stupid cause even though I知 on a computer 24/7 I know very little about them.
I was on my laptop a few days ago and it went off, I thought the power cable must have slipped out and the battery run down, so I plugged it back I and went to power it up. But nothing happened, just left it for a while thinking id over used it, and tried later, still no luck. 3 days later I知 in the same situation. Iv tried various power cables, so I know there is no fault with that. Here痴 the thing, there痴 a few files I need for uni and membership numbers etc. I don稚 need to really fix it as I知 getting a new one in a couple weeks anyway (its coming down the chimney) So I thought...this could be me being stupid Is it possible to try charging it via another socket, as in the usb or something? OR could I connect it to this desktop, or indeed my new laptop and transfer files over? As you can tell I知 not great understanding computers but I have a better knowledge than some of my friends ha ha so if any replies could be in basic dumbed down language id much appreciate it, THANKS!!! |
