Idea IBM R60 Power on password

can anyone tell me how to reset or extract the power on password which I've forgotten? Removing CMOS battery for any lenght of time does not work!!! I Have an IBM Thinkpad R60 with XP operating system

Hi, as for the rules of this site, we can't help with password related issues. Sorry for the inconence this may cause you, but it is to also help you (so incase anyone wants to break into your laptop, they don't have the info right here to do so).

Snoopdogie187 is correct. I suggest you call IBM for this. I am pretty sure they have an answer to your inquiry.
