Vaio FZ laptop downgrade from vista to xp
Good Day guys,
I have this very hard problem. I tried to downgrade a laptop because my boss had hard time working in Vista Business, so she requested me to change it to xp. The drive was 100GB and it was Shrink into 50-50. The data that was on C: was back up by me in the other partition. I then restart and booted the XP recovery disk. The disk then made the system recovery and finish the windows set up. I was then happy to see that it was now XP. But when I opened My Computer I can only see an 88GB partition with a hidden 5GB partition I think for recovery. My question is, how do I recover my file from vista coz I never thought that the other partition would would be affected and even deleted by the downgrade. Can I recover it? What are your suggestions. Thanks a Lot in advance. More Power to the team. |

Run the new version of Knoppix (linux live CD). As it runs from the CD/DVD drive, you can access your HDD. Knoppix may also recognize USB connected devices. That means you can move files between storage devices. You can also use BartPE XP live CD.
