[SOLVED] My NEW/OLD Toshiba satellite 4000 CDT Won't let me in?

Hi,

I just bought an old Toshiba satellite 4000 cdt with windows '98 installed- from a charity organization called shopgoodwill.com for $47.00) AS IS.*

*Please check them out, they say they do good for the disabled with the proceeds.

Well it's actually better looking than I thought, and it snaps right on but, when I turn it on I get a black screen with a "Password:" prompt? I can produce the packing slip if anyone wants to check my motives.
-I'm anxious to try a 'Eye Fi' card with my budding photo business dreams:)
I'm grateful for Anybodies help
