does a virus make laptop reboot and shuts down when kasperskey is installed
i had laptop infected with virusses. could not install kasperskey. scanned hdd with other computer but not all virusse was removed. could not install kasperskey. format hdd. did windows instalation xp sp2. installed kasperskey 2009. started to scan hdd with kasperskey. laptop became very hot and shut down. boot till windows logo and shuts down after blue screen. laptop get very hot when trying to do windows instalation. shuts down. laptop is Esquire model no GREEN320. the cpu does not get warm and fan is working. laptop gets hot where powersupply is connected to laptop. could a virus damage laptop? cmos damaged?
