dell inspiron 9100 laptop help pls=\
i have a inspiron laptop ive been working on for awhile now, the trouble is that the laptop tries to power up, the lights across the front light up for about 4 seconds, the screen clickers then it shuts down. no fans or anything, ive tried swapping ram slots, removing ram, removing hd, cd rom drive, battery. and it still doesn the same thing. is there some way i can try to recieve codes from it? i tried pwr and fn button. no go there. im reading its either the mb or processor. the processor is a k5193. the processor is almost 200 dollars! i dont care if the new processor is slower or not. its just for my boss's daugther to use around the house. i dont know what voltage or socket this is to try to find a new one. could any of you help me out with all of this?:(

Make sure your RAM is good and working (replace with a good working RAM if necessary). Swapping modules between slots may not help if one of them is dead. Btw, have you replaced the CPU?
