I have a Satellite A205 with a "pioneer dvd-rw dvr-k17lf ata device" dvd-rw rom that is in my system list but will not read discs. Its not listed in my computer also. It is in my system but it says its disabled, so i try to enable it but it says window can not enable device, code 22.

I read another thread on here about how to delete upper and lower filters. I looked in my registry and there is not any filters. Im lost, when i put a disk in you can hear it spin but nothing else. I've tryed blank discs and progames like halo and sim city but i get nothing.

any help would be appreciated

I also tryed to update the drivers but it says the drivers are current.

Enable the device by using Device Manager.
