I just bought this laptop for college a few months ago and have had no problems with it until a few days ago. Out of nowhere, it started to freeze. Every 30 seconds [give or take - it's random] my computer will either freeze, or load really slow, not respond, etc. It's to the point where I can't even use my laptop because it's so bad. I've ran my anti-virus several times and it says everything is clear. But one thing I did notice is that every time it does this, the icon on the front of the laptop that looks like a hockey puck [I think I read somewhere it's the hard disk icon?] slowly blinks and makes a sort of ticking noise. And I'm pretty sure it's never done that before. So...not sure if that helps with finding a solution to this, but I thought it might be important.
Anybody happen to know what's wrong? I really don't want to have to take my laptop in and get it fixed. I don't have any money and it's so inconvenient. :( Much thanks! |
