Does the Compaq Evo N1020v have usb 2.0?

I was given this computer 2 years ago without manuals or any documentation. The website says that it has a USB 2.0 port. Everytime I plug a device into the port my pc displays the warning "usb 2.0 device plugged into a usb 1.0 port". I just did a fresh install of xp pro but there is no change. I went to the website and downloaded all new drivers and, even after installing them, still have no change.

What's the scoop? Who do I believe?
