how can i install xp to on hp laptop with vista

Hello there,I bought a new Compaq presario "V6700" laptop recently and it comes with windows vista but i don't like vista because its not compatible with a lots of games and some other softwares.After i week ago then i decided to try dual boot with my system and install XP pro. when i went to the boot section through Xp cd then i got one error in my system drive like i can't see your hard drive make sure hard drive must be on before you install xp pro and i don't know why its happening? its mean i need an other hard drive to install xp on it or i can install on my same hard drive please i really need XP on my laptop.If anyone know about this problem then please let me know that will be grateful for me if you do any kind of help and please tell me also the procedure where i can get these files NTLDR, Boot.ini and Ndetect.com as well in windows vista.Thanks for your precious time to read my problem

you will need to purchase a retail copy of xp
find and download all the xp drivers before you start
Vista to XP Downgrade Compaq/ HP F700/G6000/DV6900/DV6700/DVx7xx/DV9800 Series Laptop

which game do you think doesn't work on vista, I'll prove you wrong

I can play trespasser(jurrassic park) on my vista 64 bit machine, the game uses directx 5! (its from 1996 or 1997
