Acer orbi-webcam doesn't work

When I try to run my webcam (on my Acer aspire 5051 laptop), the following message comes up - :The path '::(20d04fe0-3aea-1069-a2d8-08002b30309d)\::(21EC2020-3aea-1069-a2dd-08002b30309d)\::(e211b736-43fd-11d1-9efb-0000f8757fcd)\devid:(6bdd1fc6-810f-11d0-bec7-08002be2092f)\0000:' does not exist or is not a directory.

What can I do to get my webcam working?

Hi,
Welcome to TSF.
It appears you may have a corrupted driver
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver for your webcam?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. But my camera was working at one stage and one day just happened to stop with that message (so maybe it isn't a corrupt driver). But I have a feeling it's something to do with registration. Once I altered something from regedit (it was very complicated and I couldn't manage to do it again), and it worked but only for a few days.

Any other ideas. But I will try another driver when I can.

Lets see if reinstalling the driver works first.
If not, try a System Restore to an earlier date prior to your issue.
