missing cd/dvd drive
Can anybody help please.
I have a packard bell laptop. My cd/dvd drive has worked previously but now it has completely disapeard. It does not appear in my computer and there is no cd drive in the device manager. Also when i go into the bios setup on startup it says the cd drive is disabled. Any ideas |

Re: missing cd/dvd drive
Go into BIOS settings again and try to enable the CD drive then reboot. If that does not help, may be you have a dead or dying CD drive that needs to be replaced.
