littl ehelp with vista boot

im having a little problem with vista.

basically, it will load past the acer boot login, but then freezes before the logon screen,

and then in the corner is a small flashing indicator.
i have searched the internet for 2 hours and i cant find a solution plz help me

i have a acer 5920

are you able to get into safemode? if so, do a system restore to a previously saved restore point there.

thats the strange thing, i have tried safe mode, i tried D2D (which is acers emanagement fixing program)

nothing, i think its dead. lol

btw it wont boot into safemode

last known good configuration

last known is not safe mode it loads the last good registry
it is on the same list you see safe mode on
do you also see an option listed to do a windows recovery on the same menu
