New wireless driver - quick question
The driver for my 2200BG has evidently been corrupted and I'm getting BSOD whenever the wireless connection/antenna is activated. I posted the details of the problem earlier and the consensus is just to reinstall new drivers. I know where on the Intel website to get them, so I have it bookmarked and ready to go.
My question is how I do I go about installing a new driver if I can't connect to the internet on the laptop. I can obviously download the driver using my PC and put it on a thumb drive. Then I'm not sure what to do from there. Can anyone give me an idea? The more detailed the better - I'm so-so when it comes to computer surgery. Thanks everyone. |

Re: New wireless driver - quick question
Click Start>control panel>network connections. Right click the local area connection, click properties>configure>driver> update driver. select any of the 3 options. click next> install from specific location. The let it search. If it doesn't find it you will have to go back to the last page and show it where the thumb drive is.
