Dell Inspiron LCD issues
My laptop screen has appeared to lose its backlighting, as I can distinguish the screen detail very faintly, however an external monitor is running perfectly. Is the problem likely to be hardware or software related? thanks in anticipation

Faint/dim display? Could be backlight or inverter. Try replacing the inverter first.
