[SOLVED] a lot of problems with vista, bsod

Well, this is my first post, i have to say that i have already red a lot of posts, but i don't have encountered the answer for my problems.

The first bsod appeared when i was playing in an emulator called mameui.
THe laptop went out and when i tried to start it, i can't do it. There were only a black screen, i entered to the bios pressing f2, but in the boot options there were only two options: cd boot, and something related with the atheros, but ¡there weren't any Windows vista option !

Then i used a recovery cd, but it didn't work, it said that it can't repair the problem.
Then i found another option in the recovery cd, that was to analyse de memory, it analysed the memory and then miraculously appeared windows vista, but i don't understand why yet.

Then i found that the 6to4 devices didn't work and i deleted them because i have red that they aren't important, they only are useful if you have older versions of SO.

And then i have seen the bsod six or seven times, always when i tried to use windows update, now i can't update windows vista, ¿what can i do ?

sorry, i use windows vista home premium, x32, and the laptop is a lg e 500.
