acer recovery management without password

My laptop have been acting crazy for a while. It would just go to a windows repair message and wouldn't even load vista. Every advanced repair options doesn't work (the exact same problem as here http://paulofierro.com/archives/484/).
I think the best solution is a complete restore to factory default. But than, it's asking me for a password. I type in the default password (six zeros) and I get the message that it's the wrong password. I never set any password on my laptop. My mother is the only other person that SUPPOSE to have access to the laptop and she never set any password.
I click on "hint" and the hint is "nontraditional." I think some hacker hack into my laptop and is ******* with me. "Nontraditional" goddamnit.
Can someone please help me out?
I googled around and read some article about retrieving the password using Partedit32 and linux boost cd. But the problem is that, my laptop won't even load vista. So even if I follow all the step, I couldn't even open a notepad to retrieve the password.
HELP....
