Blue screen (laptop1)

(I indicate laptop1 because I have problems with 2 laptops. I'll post another thread for the other one).

ASUS laptop, Vista, bought on Sep 2007

It has the problem of the blue screen. In fact it is almost from day one. There was a time that it stopped for a while, but it's back again. Please please help.

Re: Blue screen (laptop1)

Hello again,
The computer just turned itself off. We were not working on it or even saw what happened.
These are the error from the administrative tools:
6008 (last)
15106
7000
7022
7003
1000
1000 (first)

Also it appeared to be quite slow after turning on.

While turning on a massege appeared: ChkMail has stopped working.
We have no idea what ChkMail is.

Please please help.

Re: Blue screen (laptop1)

Sorry for the late reply. I didn't see your reply until now :-(

I am not I understand what you mean by "does the bios list your tempretures"
The laptop seems to work very hard all the time and it does get very hot.

Re: Blue screen (laptop1)

I always reply very late. For some reason I don't receive a notification in my email. I'll check this out.

How do you check the BIOS. I am a total idiot with it.
