Evil Non-system disk or disk error

ok i have a Hp Pavilion zt3000 laptop... pretty old school but it works..anyway i get this error "Non-system disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready" when i reboot my laptop.. but check this.. if i apply pressure to the keybord it starts flickering and eventually windows boots up.. now my question is what hardware could be loose or damaged that could be causing this? and what' would i have to do to fix it? obviously something internal. any ideas? or opinions?

Re: Non-system disk or disk error

press f1 quickly at boot to enter bios and see if the hardrive is being recconized.
could be that your hardrive mounting screws have come loose. reccomend you take it to a service shop, but you can get to your hardrive by viewing this link.
