Installing Vista using O/S License Only; No cds

I purchased recently a Laptop (new) that came without installation cds or drivers. But it has an O/S License for Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium.

On starting up the system it read "disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter"

How do i install vista?

Please help!!!

NB: Posted this yesterday. I tried to edit, but the edit function is turned off, so I have to repost. I'm a novice at this....

Thanks.

Re: Installing Vista using O/S License Only; No cds

The new laptop should have given you an option to make a recovery CD disk set, but many consumers are not aware of this.
Seeing you do not have the CD's, do you know if you have a recovery partition?
What is the make/model of this laptop?
Bill
