Laptop Hard Drive

Hello.

My IBM Thinkpad can no longer be powered on. I have lots of files on the hard drive that I want to retrieve. I removed the hard drive from the dead laptop. Is there a way to connect to that hard drive with a working laptop, and retrieve the files that way?

Any advice would be appreciated!

put it in a usb exteral enclosure
