Toshiba Satellite 2435 boot problem
When I turn on the laptop it gives me the enter setup F2 or boot option with F12. Is there a way to make it just start I have to press F1 for it start but it doesn't even tell me that on the screen I just pressed it and it started. I didn't see anything about this in the bios and sometimes when I press f2 it just sits there and the F12 never does anything.

I got back in the bios and turned off the quick boot and now it shows me the message that there is a smart check and the hard drive is about to fail so I guess I know what is wrong and what I have to do.

I just wanted to make sure before I buy anything any SATA hard drive will work on this laptop. There is a seagate 500 GB hard drive on sale at best buy for $89.99 and I just wanted to check because this is the first time i've worked on a laptop and a SATA hard drive.
