sp3 installation problem

hi all,

i'm using a laptop with xp , sp2 pack running.
i come here after recieving help from newbie help forum, which cleared my malware problems ( though some came back ).

i' ve tried to install sp3 but each time at the end of process it tells me that one of my periferics has a problem and that it caused the failure of the installation.i don't know which one the're refierring to.

all the help will be most appreciated

1. backup your data.
2. System recovery
3. If this doesnt work please post back

System recovery is a built-in recovery partition that is loaded in computers. This will overwrite all data on the system.

What is the make/model of your computer?

What peripherals do you have connected to the system while trying the install.

If all else fails you can contact MS for free support on SP3

if you still have an infection it can block the install

my computer is a compaq laptop under xp with an amd turion64, nvidia graphic card.
when i launched the install i only had my modem connected, and the peripherals in the laptop.

i knew the systeme recovery was "in" the computer but i forgot from where i launch it.
