Toshiba A 215 S 4757 Web Cam Locked
When I try to engage my webcam for Yahoo IM, a message comes up that the camera is locked by another application. I've checked spybot residence to see if that was the issue.
I recvd an IM/webcam invitation, accepted it. All was working fine for a brief second, then the error message displayed. I don't know if it is a Toshiba/Yahoo/Vista issue. I've updated Yahoo to 9.0 for vista. I did have a quantified error report which I repaired with an online source. when I check to see if yahoo recognizes my camera it does not, however it worked for a moment tonight. How do I find what program has it locked? thanks kel |

Hi Kel,
Have you tried uninstalling the drivers yet? If not, try uninstall in Device Manager and ADD/REMOVE, reboot and install the drivers using the one in Toshiba website for your model.
