A random question. Please help.

I bought a laptop online from newegg, and it was somehow stolen in transit, is there any possible way I could track / hunt down the laptop? Is there any chance newegg could help hunt it down? Or maybe Microsoft? I'm not asking for help on how to deal with the companies responsible, that's being taken care of, but just if I had no other option, could I somehow find it? It was an ASUS laptop. Brand new with Vista installed. Thanks for any advice in advance.

it's neweggs problem
it's up to them to replace it and make the decision track it down
