Hard drive jitter and blue screen problems with Acer Aspire 6920
My 4 month old Acer Aspire 6929 has recently been lagging after awakening it from Sleep or Hibernate modes. More troubling than that is that a blue screen of death pops up out of nowhere every week or so. It includes a STOP code and a whole lot of other stuff that I haven't taken down on a piece of paper yet. It talks about a physical dump and talks about disabling BIOS....I have a subscription with McAfee and I run virus and spyware scans every few days. After these blue screens appear, I always run a full system scan and nothing comes up. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong with my notebook?
