Optical drive stuck in bay cannot remove from laptop
Working on Dell Inspiron 1300, running WinXPhome.
CD/DVD drive diagnostics showed it was toast. found an exact match for the CRX835E. Old one came out like a charm. New one isn't being recognized, and now appears to be firmly Stuck in the bay. I don't want to tug or prod too harshly and wreck the whole laptop. HELP ??
