Toshiba Satellite P205-S6267 Office 2007 Demo
I can't get the demo MS Office 2007 to uninstall via Control Panel>Programs & Features. I also can no longer get MS Word 2007 (demo) to open at all.
Is there a way to get the demo back to it's original condition without doing a complete system restore? I didn't see any option for installing Office anything on the Recovery Disks. I figure if I can get it back, intact, it should uninstall properly. I installed Office 97 on this laptop and except for a error at start-up ("The Windows registry has reported that one or more required files are damaged or missing. To correct this problem, run the Word setup program."), which may be caused by running 97 on Vista. Besides after I click OK Word 97 goes ahead and starts (and operates) fine. But now I'd like all doc files to open with Word 97. Any help is appreciated. Lisa in The Lowcountry |
