itunes says every ipod is corrupt?

every time i plug in an ipod into my laptop, itunes says its corrupt and reccomends restoring it, no matter what ipod it is. then when i restore it, itunes still says its corrupt! please help me i've lost tons of music (even music that i've recorded) because of this ridiculous problem.

Hi, I would reinstall iTunes, it may be corrupt itself. Don't do a reapir, just uninstall it completely, then downlod the newest iTunes from itunes.com (I think) and install that.
It may say your iPods are corrupt at this point since they may really be from the Itunes you have now.
