Installing XP on dv6000 No Drive found error

I am attempting to install windows xp on my dv6000 and when attempting to install i get cannot find hardrive error, so i followed this, http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows/resolving-setup-did-not-find-any-hard-disk-drives-during-windows-xp-installation/ and when trying to install again, i still get the same error
What do i do?

is the xp disk the one that came with the computer?

set sata as ide in the bios
you may also need to load a driver with f6
