[SOLVED] Toshiba Satellite Help

I got a laptop here and I wanted to put a new hard drive in and a clean install of Vista Basic.

The laptop has Dual-Core, Wi-fi,Ati video card.

Question is..
What kind of drivers would I have to install to get it up and running?
Can I run it without installing the cpu drivers?
How do I find out what cpu drivers to install? or do I have too?
Where can I find the drivers to install for this laptop?
The laptop has Vista Basic and the person I am doing this for wants to keep Vista,When I look for the OEM disk I see DvD how do I know If my laptop will read the Dvd?

(Toshiba Satellite A135-S2286)

Any help will be appreciated thanks in advance.

Re: Toshiba Satellite Help

You can find the drivers here . . be sure to choose Vista as the operating system.

You can download and run the Belarc Advisor to see what devices you have, or look in Device Manager for the details

Re: Toshiba Satellite Help

Thxs I couldn't find the drivers on the toshiba Site but those are it.

What about the CPU? Would that have its own drivers to install?
I've done this before but never with a dual core cpu.

That is the Chipset Drivers . .

I've done this before but never with a dual core cpu.

It's the same as with a single core CPU
