[SOLVED] Compaq Presario V6000 Wireless Error

This is very frustrating. The wireless network on my laptop just disappeared. It doesn't show up in the network connections area at all. And the wireless assistant will not show up when I attempt to open it, so can't even view available wireless networks. I have updated all of the drivers to be sure it is not that, but no help. Can anyone help?

Similar symptoms as yours... I do hope your unit is covered.
