Dell 1525 bluetooth question.

Hi All,
This is my first thread so if i do any mistake please forgive me.

Ok i recently brought a Dell 1525 laptop, it is running Windows Vista Home Premium SP1, my questions are how can i know if it has bluetooth or not? coz when i am trying to Fn+F2 nothing happens and i have a LED light for bluetooth on the right hand corner, how can i know if bluetooth hardware is there in my laptop? if yes how can i activate it ? i dont have the bluetooth symbol in my system tray ... i have checked the device manager but nothing related to Bluetooth is displayed in there .... so guys please help me out here ....

Re: Dell 1525 bluetooth question.

According to this page http://www1.ca.dell.com/content/prod...hs1&l=en&s=dhs, Bluetooth is OPTIONAL. So you may not have it. AFAIK Dell customer service has a way of knowing given the model and serial number.

Re: Dell 1525 bluetooth question.

There should be an icon in Control Panel (at least for some laptops). Also try under Programs.
