OS: windows vista 34 bit

cant put in sleep mode toshiba laptop u400-134
i have brand new toshiba satellite u400-134 which i cant put on sleep mode.if i do that screen will swich off but laptop will continuu to work and get very hot.i tryed every possible combination with power plan but didnt work.
anybody can help thanks paya |
