usb cable turned off vio laptop

Had my vio laptop plugged in and on. Plugged in a usb cable and the power went off. Now it will not turn on at all, no lights go on at all. Light is on the power cable when plugged in.

Even the USB cable is removed, still no power ON? Remove battery and unplug AC adapter then press and hold power ON switch for 30 secs. at least. Put back battery and plug back AC then power ON as normal.

What do you mean by that? When the AC power is plugged in, the computer will turn on?

Tried taking out battery and holding the power button for 30 seconds, then put battery back and plugged in power cord.
No response from the laptop. Wont turn on with the power cord plugged in or not.

What was the USB device? Also are there any Flash Codes? or Beep Codes? any lights at all?

Correct my understanding... but even without the USB device plugged in, you still get no life from the laptop when you press the power button?

Check voltage at AC adapter output. Make sure it should match on what is listed on the label. Also make sure batter carries a charge.

Yes no life at all, plugged into the wall or not. Usb cable plugged in or not.
Battery carries a charge and the power cable is working fine.
Was using it and had it on like usual, plugged in the cable to connect my phone and as soon as I did that, lights out. Completely dead. No response at all now.

Strip down the laptop to just motherboard, RAM and power On switch. If still no life it could be a dead mobo.
