Cry [SOLVED] Toshiba satellite - deleted cd drive by accident

Iwas making room in my laptop, deleting programs i didn't use or need, and accedently might of deleted my drives, when i go to my computer folder, only the c: drive shows up, not the d: drive. How do i fix this problem? Any help would be greatly apprieciated. Thanx for ur time

hi,
i dont under stand how u deleted drives.
even if u delete u can access in computer management.there u can access all the partitions of your drives.and try renaming them.

i looked in my recycling bin. not there :( i opened my device manager, my drives are in there but it says it's corrupt or missing (code 29)

in your device manager under actions scan for new hardware

see if it pops up then install it

ohh and sorry about the double post tell me if you have any red or yellow marks beside your icons in device manager

should i uninstall the drives first

yeah yellow little yield sign with a ! in it

ok so i uninstalled the drive, then restarted my com. It started installing the driver and said it was not installed sucessfully? am i pretty much screwed????

ok nevermind, broke down and called toshiba support. but if thios ever happens to someone else just open your browser and type in - tinyurl.com/toshibadvd - now everything is up and working perfectly. after you get the regisrty file, just restart your comp. thanx for you time guys, apprieciate it.
