Dell Vostro & 5.1 Surround sound
Hey everyone,
Just a quick question, what is the best way to acheive 5.1 true surround sound for this laptop to work with the logitech x540 I would just like to hear what others have done or know of Thanks in advance

Try Advanced setting under Volume tab under Sound/Audio in Control Panel. You should see a dropdown selection there. One of the choices/settings is for 5.1.

I don't think i explained... lol
Laptop soundcards only support steroe sound, obviously 2.1, because thats as much as those jacks hold, is it possible to get good quality USB or PCI-E 5.1 sound cards? (Note:not imitate 5.1 sound)
