[SOLVED] ACER laptop Aspire 5670 touchpad driver
Hi all
Iam looking for an ACER Aspire 5670 touchpad driver. The laptop now has WinXP Pro SP3 (came with XP Home) and I've installed what I think are the touchpad drivers but nothing works. I can plug in a USB mouse and all is fine, but then cant easily move laptop and use away from a flat desk. Any ideas? Urfan |

Re: ACER laptop Aspire 5670 touchpad driver
Hi,
Welcome to TSF. Have you tried this site: http://www.acerpanam.com/synapse/for...=2&formid=3394 Input your make and model and it will give you all the drivers. Just be sure you download it for your system (Aspire 5670 and Operating system XP) Hope this helps. Bill |

Re: ACER laptop Aspire 5670 touchpad driver
Hi,
Thank you very much! That worked! I installed the driver but it still didnt work.. Until I read the troubleshooting guide and found that I had to enable the pad via Fn+F7 !! I had already checked for any settings in the bios and drivers but just didnt see what the funny symbol on the F7 key meant. Now it makes sense. Thanks for you help Urfan |
