Battery Not Charging/Holding Charge Properly..
Ok, so I have a battery that will not charge properly.. It will charge up to about 44% max and then use up the battery power within a matter of 10 minutes or less when taken off AC power.. The charge light is ALWAYS on when the AC is plugged in, however, the icon on the system tray just states that the AC is plugged in.. almost like the battery is at full charge so it doesn't need charging even though the battery is really only at about 18%.. I tried recalibrating it and it was on for about 10 hours and it was still stuck at the same percentage it was when I started the recalibration so I stopped it because it was not working.. I have tried recalibrating 3 more times and got the same results.. Today I bought a new battery but I think its defective because when I unplug the AC power the whole computer shuts down.. But the dead battery light does not come on.. almost like the battery does not even exist even though its shown under power options when the computer is on.. HELP!
