Laptop Keyboard?

Hey. Okay, this post I won't be able to break up because of the actual error.. lol. ( I'll try my best to do so with spaces.)

Anyway, earlier I spilt some juice on my laptop keyboard, nothing happened immediately but after about an hour, my enter key just stopped working.. then I flicked it out, and when putting it back in, it was working as it had jammed..and would just constantly press the enter key but the key was placed properly..

I got that to stop working and now it's just not working, I read that I can't just fix the individual key and have to get the whole laptop keyboard replaced? Is this true and how much would this set me back, and were would I go to get it fixed. Would PC World rip me of?

I think one of my arrow keys is playing up aswell because it's just sticking (like my enter was, and doesn't actually work..) so yeah, just advice and such please..

Sadly replacing the keyboard is the best option as I see it. Try eBay, there are many good keyboard there at decent prices. Just look for your model.

Re: Laptop Keyboard?

Is it easy enough and how would I go about it? Am I best of just going to a PC Shop and letting them do it?

Re: Laptop Keyboard?

Ah okay, how much would they usually be about and if I can't find it on eBay what were else could I look at, baring in mind I live in UK and I see your US. :P Also, another question on a similar subject..my left key on my laptop has also broke, same again so I use a USB mouse.. that doesn't bother me too much but would I have to replace the whole touchpad or would they be able to fix it? (They being the IT guys..)

Re: Laptop Keyboard?

I believe there are laptop parts online stores that serve your area. About the touchpad button, that usually is part of the bezel. Re. your question if they can fix it.. i believe so. That too can be replaced.
