Toshiba A105 Turns on, then right back off after 5 seconds

I've tried everything-a new motherboard, new CPU, new RAM, new AC adapter, and it still does the same thing. The ONLY time it doesn't shut off is if there is no CPU installed. Anybody have the same or similar problem? Any ideas? Did I just get a bad replacement motherboard?

First thing that came to my mind was thermal overload on the cpu.

Not that that is the case, just what popped into my head when I read your post.

Check if you have put thermal compound on CPU and heatsink.
