Weird power up on thinkpad 600e
I have an IBM Thinkpad 600e running on win 2000. It had been working fine until a few days ago when upon power up instead of loading windows, it goes to some weird system screen with a primitive graphic that looks like a floppy disk and a crude animation that suggests it wants you to load some kind of floppy into a floppy drive and then hit F1.
I have no idea why this is happening or what to do about it. Any clues? Thanks. |

Re: Weird power up on thinkpad 600e
Check your BIOS settings specifically boot sequence or boot order. Make sure HDD is not disabled and is in the list. Also if the 600e has a CD drive, try booting from the CD drive.l
