Toshiba Satellite Pro A100 wont power up

Hi Hoping one of the guru's can help me , my laptop is a Toshiba satellite pro a100 had it for about 2 years. On Saturday it worked fine went to power up on sunday it wouldn’t power up at all. With the ac adapter plugged in you get the ac power led and the battery led and that’s it. If you press the power button it flashes for a second and nothing even the leds go out for a couple of seconds. Have tried reseating memory (2x512) and only using one stick and changing the slot but nothing. Have tried the remove the battery hold the power button for 30 sec and nothing also. I am starting to think my main board is fried. Has any one had this problem before? and if so is there a simple solution?

Does it power On and shutdown? If yes, start without battery (use AC only). If the same persists, change the RAM with a known good/working module for testing purposes.
