Mouse automatically clicks

I have Toshiba A65 (without external mouse). I am intermittently navigated to wherever the arrow is at the time, as if I have clicked the mouse. What is the problem? Will an external mouse remedy this? Thanks, Tom

Re: Mouse automatically clicks

Look on the Toshiba support site for the laptop, there may be drivers available, reinstall those, it should fix any problems you've had with the trackpad.

Also, you could be tapping it with your wrist while typing.

Re: Mouse automatically clicks

Check your touchpad settings and disable the tap to click. You'll have to use the buttons to click, but it should eliminate the linking.

If not, get an external mouse, and set the touchpad to disabled if another mouse is detected.
