Dell inspiron ac adapter

I have a dell inspiron e1505 and recently each time I turn on the laptop a quick set warnign comes up saying that "ac power type cannot be determined, please connect an ac adpater of 65w or higher , otherwise battery wont charge and computer will operate slower. To resolve this problem, please reseat the adapter"

What does it mean to reseat the adapter?
can this problem be fixed?

What does it mean to reseat the adapter? -- remove and put it back in. Are you using an original/genuine adapter? If so, then you may have to check Dell website for a BIOS update.

can this problem be fixed?
