Hard drive keeps crashing - what do I do?
I've got an IBM Thinkpad T20 laptop which I have had for five months with a 20GB hard-drive.
Since last week, my laptop has just ran Windows XP for a bit, then would randomly crash meaning it would take many attempts just to get any further. I had to re-format and landed up re-installing XP over the weekend thinking that would help. The same thing is still happening. When I run intel boot agent, I land up with "EXITING PXE-ROM and MEDIA TEST FAILED" I've tried to open the case to check for lose wiring, but one of the screws is very tight and no screwdriver can open it! The case is a bit cracked now, and it's infurating me how to solve this problem. What can I do? |

d/load and run the hard drive makers diognostic utility on the hard drive
