I have a compaq 6720 laptop which is almost new but I have cracked the screen on ebay there are no 6720s but there are other hp laptops with a 15.4" screen. Will another hp model with the same size of screen fit and work in my 6720 laptop?

Re: screen replacement
Yes I believe so. Best if you can get the part number of your broken screen. What is important is the connection sockets. They should match your video cables otherwise you will need the whole set.
What I do is I contact the seller and ask them. They have that kind of information (part numbers, compatibility, etc.).
